Poured from a 12 oz bottle with the date code on the bottle into a pint glass and got a finger of head that dissipated quickly.
A: Pours orange in color with a white head that disappears quickly to a minimal head that covers the top of the beer, barely. That mimimal head does last to the end, though.
S: Not what I expected. It is not hoppy but malty. Smells like bread and nuts and some floral aromas. It smells "barnyard like".
T: Mostly malt and an aftertaste of alcohol.
M: Thick and prickly. It is not easy to drink: the alcohol taste sticks to my mouth and throat.
O: I am really disappointed and it is not a beer that I would have again. I bought a 4- pack because it had a very good BA rating. Oh well. It is too sweet and there is not enough hoppiness to it. The alcohol taste is too prevalent. It was brewed 5 1/2 months ago. This beer is overrated.
