On tap at the Taphouse Grill in Bellevue, which servers stale beers on dirty tap lines. This one was just tapped though, and was robust enough to stand up to the dirty tap line tang, which I've ignored for this review.
Served in a snifter, DFH 90 min is a dark clear copper with a medium, khaki head that leaves pretty heavy lace.
Smell is lots of pungent citrus, resiny, some cat pee, a very nice pungency, wow!
Taste is very well balanced, rich maltiness, spicy hops, a firm, bitter finish with the ABV very well hidden save for the dry, spicy finish. Not as sharp as the aroma with the hop flavor, but it's still big and satisfying.
Mouthfeel is super creamy and very smooth, with a medium body.
Drinkability is great, is a just a definative example of a DIPA and the American craft brew renaissance of the 20+ years. dangerously easy drinking, it could stand a bit more hop flavor to match the aroma and chewy malt backbone, but is nevertheless a great beer.

reddish and cloudy with a super thick retentive head lots of carbonation everywhere.
super balanced, and incredibly smooth, I expected it to be very hoppy . it is not .
sticky sweet mouth feel , very drinkable. I would recommend it to novice and experienced ipa partakers alike.
I have to admit I wasn't blown away by the intense flavors, but it was a joy to drink.
