Appearance - Looks nearly as black as a starless night. I literally could not see even a speckle of light through it. Had a very thick and creamy dark tan head which stayed strong.
Smell - Instantly smelled the 18% ABV on this one. The chocolate and dark fruit scents try to mask it, but ultimately fail from letting this beast make itself known.
Taste - Very warm. The brew itself was cold, but the mixture of sweetness and high ABV definitely gives a profound warm tingling throughout your body with each sip. Very rustic and earthy. Definitely an extreme example of an Imperial Stout.
Mouthfeel - Almost syrupy, but still has enough fluidity to stay smooth.
Drinkability - A beer connoisseur's dream come true, though definitely not for the average beer consumer. While some may be turned off by it's high ABV, passing up a chance to try this masterfully crafted stout is quite a mistake.
