not sure what style to judge this beer against, will record impressions....pours a cloudy dark yellow into a pint glass, small 1" white head but the beer itself is very carbonated, thick cords of carbonation rising off the glass bottom.
Adjunct-like nose, given the rice used this is not surprising. there is a hint of something flavorful or spicy in the background, I cannot put my finger on the name of the odor though. Familiar.
Once again, the taste is of adjuncts (rice I assume) and some other flavor, slightly sour and acidic. I have read the ingredient/process list and could not tell any of those distinct flavors apart, but then again there are a number of things on that list I have never had.
I am not enamoured of this beer, but presumably it is a one-off from DFH, and another example of considerable research and creativity in their beer mix.
