I had this on-tap at the DFH Alehouse in Falls Church Virginia. I first had this in the 750 ml bottle about two years ago, and it quickly became my favorite DFH beer. I was extremely excited to be able to try it on-tap.
A - Like many of DFH's brews, it has a beautiful orangey golden hue. A very nice thick thumb width head, that disapated slowly with some nice sticky lacing.
S - The nice citrusy aroma you would expect from any good belgian brew is here in full effect. Very nice, pleasantly sweet aroma.
T - Besides the lovely citrus taste, I also got some hints of apple and pear. Delicious.
M - A little sticky, probably due to the high alcohol content. But overall, not too much so that it detracts from the overall experience.
D - Very drinkable brew. The 10% ABV is almost undetecable. Very refreshing and light.

Deep orange, bronze color and mostly opaque. Two fingers of rich, creamy head on the pour never lets up. Provides a dense coating of lace with each sip.
Fresh orange, coriander and mild yeast aroma. Hint of white wine.
Dense, wheat-like malt character. Hints of corn. White grapes. Mild yeast notes suggesting cloves. Subtle herbal hop, provides a delicate spicy layer. Fairly well balanced. A little funky in the finish.
Full bodied. Yeasty, grainy texture. Slick feel and sticky on the lips. Descent carbonation.
Not bad. I think this is only the second double wit I've ever tried. I enjoyed the white wine addition. Nice complexity.
