750 ml bottle, graciously shared by Adam at a nice tasting at his place. This has got to be one of my favorite Dogfish head beers. Love the mix of wit and wine.
Pours an orange amber color. The head dissipates to a thin right. Lacing is non-existent, slightly disappointing. Also, some sea monkeys (yeast) suspended. Overall appearance is just average but it's deep color is impressive.
Smell is wonderful. Red wine, some barrel, coriander, touch of yeasty characteristics. Nice scents, orange is subdued but there. Really nice combo here.
Taste is lighter than expected, but good. Really sweet. Noticeable touch of alcohol, but well integrated. Wine, oranges, Belgian whit malt, not tanic. Really sweet. Touch of spice. Did I mention it's sweet?
Mouthfeel is a bit on the syrupy side. Not loving it but OK for a 10% with the barrel influence.
Drinkability is high just because I really love the flavors. Not cloying, but sweet and sexy. Would certainly have again, and again, and again!

Deep orange, bronze color and mostly opaque. Two fingers of rich, creamy head on the pour never lets up. Provides a dense coating of lace with each sip.
Fresh orange, coriander and mild yeast aroma. Hint of white wine.
Dense, wheat-like malt character. Hints of corn. White grapes. Mild yeast notes suggesting cloves. Subtle herbal hop, provides a delicate spicy layer. Fairly well balanced. A little funky in the finish.
Full bodied. Yeasty, grainy texture. Slick feel and sticky on the lips. Descent carbonation.
Not bad. I think this is only the second double wit I've ever tried. I enjoyed the white wine addition. Nice complexity.
