A: Very dark orange, bordering on amber with a creamy off white head that stuck around
S: heavy dose of hops with a lot of dry fruitiness and a floral note. The apricot seems to have dropped off but they are still slightly present. There are some distinct caramel notes in the background
T: fruity from the onset. there is a distinct apricot flavor that is support very well by the fruity/floral hop character. This beer struck me as more of an india AMBER ale than a pale. But the heavier malt supports the hops for a great balance. There is a big caramel flavor at work here
M: Medium body with a wonderfully dry finish that creates a good profile for the hops and fruit
D: Pretty good beer. Don't normally love fruit beers but this one was thought through and well done. it was a highlight of fruit on an already good beer.

A - Copper color with slight haze, small white head, extensive lacing.
S - Fairly muted, flat hop notes, malts in the form of pilsner coming through loud and clear.
T - Hop is mostly in the form of grass notes. A mild fruity note coupled with a cracker and grain malt hit. Turns bitter on the close, illustrating the serious hopping.
M - Given how bitter the turn is on the close, it is surprising how crisp the feel is. There is a gradual build, though, and it does burden the beer a bit you move into the second 6 oz.
O - This hybrid beer promises fruit, but though I think it is a decent IPA - nothing special, mind, but fairly clean and thoroughly hopped - the fruit is mostly lost. The only hint to its presence is a certain sweetness in the middle. Supporting role, indeed.
