750 split between two goblets.
Very carbonated, with a pillar of bubbles pouring up from the center of the glass. Hazy dark orange/amber colored. White head is short-lived.
Sour and tart citrus in the aroma. Over-ripe fruits like pear and apples, and a subtle earthy cocoa aroma as well. Taste is on the sweet side, smooth cocoa blends nicely with the malts. Interesting effect here, not much from the chilies, but maybe a tiny bite in the finish that lingers for a bit.
Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. This is an interesting beer. Overall not something I would drink more of beyond this glass, but glad to have tried it.
