Notes/Commercial Description:
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.

Appearance is a nice foggy blonde color, with a pure white and thick and foamy head.

Smell is everything a wheat beer should smell like, oranges, a hint of spices, some lemon, and a hint of fresh baked bread.

The taste is a little weak. Coriander is the flavor that dominates, but besides that it is water, and weak. So lots of coriander, and a hint of lemon and orange juice, but besides that not a whole lot going on.

Mouthfeel though is decently thick and creamy, and seems to coat well.

Overall its an easy drinking beer, nothing to write home about though.

Interesting beer with some unique qualities and a hefty price tag. Namaste has most notably a lot of Belgian flavors and influences. Banana, clove, spice, coriander, citrus, bread, yeast fill the nose and palate. Coriander is a bit overwhelming for me. Flavor dies off very quickly leaving only some yeasty funk for an after taste. Mild orange sweetness. Body is light and carbonated, helping some of the brighter flavors flourish. Overall, certainly not a bad beer, but it was a little heavy on some of the spices for me, especially for what i was expecting to be an easy drinker. I couldn't drink more than one in a row.

The only other thing I have to add is that the price was RIDICULOUS. I don't know if it was just the store that I go to but I paid almost $16 for a sixer. Pretty hefty for a low ABV beer.

Appearance
Lightly hazy yellow/lemon color. Only a slight head
Smell
Smells like a Belgian White, the coriander and spices are very present
Taste
Herbs, coriander and lemon weave in and out of this.
Overall
Again, another great beer, but not one that I’m a particular fan of, I’m not going to knock it just because it isn’t my thing though. It’s of course another wonderful offering from Dogfish and if you’re a fan of Belgian beers, get yourself some.

I'm a big fan of Dogfish Head beers and I guess I was just expecting more out of this brew... It was a bit on the boring and plain side. The white wheat beer has a bit of a floral nose and very light citrusy flavor. I'm not a huge fan and it just doesn't seem to fit the mold of normal dogfish head brews.
