A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.

Namaste - 2011 1083 from notes

A- Slight hazy golden straw pour, tiny chunks floating around in suspension. Three finger fluffy white head recedes to thin cap quickly. Lacing is awesome.

S- Lemon and oranges, yeast and typical wheat beers.

T- Lemon and oranges, earthy grass notes. Typical wit taste.

M- Medium to thin bodied, lively carbonation.

O- Nothing special, nothing wowing, just an alright beer, strange for dfh not adding their own flair to this.

Pours clouded lemon-drop yellow with a large white, foamy head.

The smell is of pepper, coriander, sugar-coated oranges and lemongrass. Spicy and tangy.

The taste is bright - orange tang with a coriander spicing.

The carbonation is lively, sprizty, and crisp.

A nice, fresh, witbier with an orange flavor (no need for an orange wedge - though that's not my thing anyway). A very nice example of the style, though pricey for what it is.

Poured into a snifter. Bottle says Bottled in 2011.

A- Pours a golden color with a 1/2 inch head that doesn't retain long before dropping to an 1/8 inch ring around the glass's edge. Super thin surface foam and nice streaks of lacing.

S- You can definitely smell the coriander along with a fume of alcohol and faint Belgian yeast.

T- Clean and light with notes of orange and mild spice. Especially easy to drink. Not much going on.

M- Snappy and bright as well as thin and borderline watery. Medium carbonation.

O- Not a bad tasting beer, just nothing special. Dogfish should stick to the extreme brews IMO.
