A - A nice oily black body. Head with brown and quickly faded away. No carbonation to speak of.
S - A nice mix of both chocolate and Coffee malts. Heavy on the chocolate. A nice leather presence.
T - Like the aroma was very heavy on the chocolate malts. Bittersweet chocolate! The roasted coffee notes were just enough to take the edge off the sweetness from the chocolate malts. There was almost a ginseng type flavor to the finish; which may have been the honey and gesho. Never had gesho.
M - Smooth and rich. Somewhat creamy. Although it was thick I really did not find it heavy on the stomach.
O - Great beer. I'm not really sure if I got the honey flavor. I also am not familiar with gesho. It certainly had a unique aftertaste that made it different from other beers from this style.
