750ml bottle into a tulip:
A: Roaring tan head, the body is oil slick black. Really good head retention with decent lacing.
S: Chocolate, roasted malts, honey, coffee, and a hint of woodiness.
T: Honey hits first, quickly followed by dark malts and chocolate. There is a touch of earthy wood and some coffee as it warms. A bit dirty (actual dirt) that ends up pulling the experience together, very interesting.
M: Good mouthfeel. It is slick and full bodied as it coats the mouth.
D: For a russian imperial stout this is incredibly drinkable. Not one that I would rush back to personally, but a great creative brew from Dogfish Head.
