A - poured into tulip, nice sudsy two finger white head, golden body with slight haze. Didn't leave any lacing and appeared somewhat lifeless throughout.
S - smells a little skunky, slight sweetness, peppery yeast.
T - tast is a mild biscuity breadyness with a slightly spicey cinnamon finish. Beyond that it doesn't taste like much, it's not bad and has no off tastes, just is missing any real flavor. There is an absolute lack of bitterness, allowing the tiny presence of malt sweetnss to find its way to being too cloying.
M - the beer feels thick and has little carbonation.
O - as a history lesson this is cool, to think maybe this is what the Egyptians drank, but it's not what I drink or want to drink. Will pass on this in the future but was good to have it once just for the experience. That's pretty much why I love dogfish head, this was brewed to push envelope and provide an experience, not just to sell more beer.
