P: 750ml bottle into a DFH signature glass.
A: Pours an amber/orange with a big white head that has nice retention. Solid lacing.
S: Lots of citrusy hops, with some dried lemon rind. A little sweetness from the malt.
T: Really smooth and that dried lemon flavor really dominates along with hop bitterness and some spiciness. Lemon rind comes through clearly. This beer definitely sides with bitter as the malty sweetness plays second fiddle. There is some alcohol presence but at 10% ABV it's well hidden overall.
M: Smooth with moderately high body. I would say carbonation is moderate as well.
O: I really like this beer. I like lemons in general and their up front nature in this beer is great. I think this would be beautiful with a hardy whitefish. They could have toned down the alcohol to make it more drinkable but I'm grasping at straws to find any major faults.

Gotta say....love the artwork.
Huge white foam with a nice bright amber/copper colored ale.
Aroma has a lot of malt present with light lemon whiffs in the background. Wishing for more.
Taste was pretty good. I am getting more of the lemon on the swallow with nice hoppiness playing around with the malt.
Good amount of carbonation on each swallow, bit not overly.
Overall I was intrigued by the artwork and my man-love for DFH. Unfortunately I was not totally impressed with this offering. I was hoping for more hops and zest but was met with a bigger dose of malt. The lemons didn't make that much of an appearance to the party either. I did like reading the label though.
