Enjoyed this beer at Dogfish head pub in Delaware

A: Pours a golden hue with a white head that quickly dissipates leaving a slight trail.

S: Citrus aroma – mostly lemon.

T: Sweet at first then slightly fruity and finishes on the dry side of sweet.

O: Interesting brew – worthy of a try.

Golden yellow in color deepening toward orange in the middle and a bit hazy. Poured with a short, rich, dense froth that slowly reduced leaving a ladder of sticky lacings on the glass. Brady and biscuity malt aromas with lemon, earthy grass and herbal hop aromas in the background. Medium bodied with a creamy feel and subdued carbonation. Bready, buttery malt flavors up front that taper to biscuity malt as the hop bitterness rolls in. Light lemon and earthy herbal hop flavors grow through the middle and slowly taper at the end. Finishes cleanly and crisply with a bitter hop snap at the finish. A malt forward pale ale in a world of intensely hopped ales. Not as dry as most english pale ales bit very refreshing and easy to drink nonetheless.

Poured on tap into a shaker pint at Dogfish Head's Alehouse in Gaithersburg Maryland. From notes.

Peach orange body. A bit hazy and slightly cloudy looking. Some minimal rising carbonation present. Glass is topped with a faint ring of off white head, which laces quite large while drinking and consuming.

Interesting nose. Biscuity malts and fruity classic English esters, some lemon, and fruity marmalade. Slightly crackery and there seems to be a hint of American hop presence possibly with a faint hint of grapefruit like rind possibly.

Palate matches nicely with the hints from the nose. Quite a nice dry biscuity palate, classic lemon and marmalde like bitterness as well. Slight dry with the fruit angle matching nicely, and a good hop presence on this. Hints of herbality and possibly some floral sensations, but also some strong grapefruit zest rind and oils. Oily action on the aftertaste in the hop realm seems quite varied and matches nicely with the base beer, coating and filling the palate nicely.

A distinctly different English style which is probably just a little bit better than most typical run of the mill English Pales I've had.

A-clouy golden orange with a thin white head

S-smells like a super fresh pale ale, almost like a fresh mountain rain. English malts. Faint scent.

T-comes in with a crisp taste of aged grass and English barley. It has a decent bitterness as well. It really fills the mouth with flavor but is still quite mellow. After-taste is matching with a sticky bitterness.

M-great heavy creamy carbonation with a dry finish

O-one of the more easy drinking English pales I've had, and it's so fresh tasting. Something I could drink a lot of, but considering this is at the DFH alehouse...it's quite dull compared to what else is available.
