Had on tap at DFH in Rehoboth. Review from notes.
A: Tahkoku was served in a pint glass, the beer was a hazy brown with a small off-white head on top. Nice retention and lacing for a brown ale.
S: The aroma was certainly nutty, hazelnuts for sure, with a little bit of dark fruit and some light spice.
T: More nuts on the flavor profile, some toffee and a little bit of coffee as well. There is a sizeable amount of bready malt.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: A decent brown ale, very nutty as was the goal I think. A good beer for the fall with a nice and low abv.
