Been waiting for the day to have this on tap.
Pours a deep copper orange, hazy with a sexy white foamy head, bubbles clinging everywhere
Smell is a bit of a let down for being only a couple months old. Only slight hop punch of front with a lingering sweet citrus. A bit of sweet alcohol as well with some evergreen to it.
Taste is surprisingly smooth, the notes of everything is rounded orange peel, bitter lemon, and a ton of pine. The heat is there can't deny it, it's great but I was expecting in your face hops actually has a lot of bready malt to it.
Very silky, grasps the tongue a bit, drinks like a lower abv dipa.
Ya it's one of those hyped beers, but eh, wasn't a hundred percent impressed

Pours a deep clouded amber with just a thin ring of head around the top. The aroma is interesting. The aclohol esters are strong and sweet, balancing against a floral note. The big 18% ABV comes up loud in the taste, as well, dominating initially and fading out quickly. The remainder of the flavor is hard to describe. The bad is full and thick and smooth. This is one to sip and enjoy, if for no other reason than it retails $10 or more a bottle.
