Nice light bronze color. Not much head or lacing but the color really sparkles, giving it an overall inviting appearance. Smell is all ginger as expected. Maybe it's just because it's close to Christmas but i get a definate gingerbread thing going on here. Taste the same as smell with the ginger lingering long after it's left your mouth. Pretty clean mouthfeel. I started into this one a little too cold but as it warms the strong ginger flavor turns this into a sipper. Not sure I would return to this one, but as with many of the Dogfish beers I'm happy to have tried it once.

My favorite dfh beer so far. Really good, not too hoppy. Hard to pigeon hole this beer but it is excellent

A cool gimmick, but a beer that I will only buy one time. I support DFH's approach to creative brewing, but it often leads to disappointing brews. This beer isn't bad, but it's not something I would want to drink for anything other than novelty.
