From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on February 12, 2014.
Pale-straw yellow pour with a full, lingering white foamy head and continuous carbonation.
Fascinating aroma of grains, pale malts, sugar, and a kind of lemon zest. Clean crisp hop note.
The body is light to medium which is to be expected for the style but there is a kind of smoothness to it too.
The taste is much like the aroma with a toasted grain and barley flavor and a lemon or citrus zestiness. Clean, dryish finish.
