Poured into tulip glass.
Reddish brown with thin head and head retention,
Smells of sour cherry, balsamic vinegar, yeast, touch of malty breadiness.
Tastes of balsamic vinegar, cherry and altbier.
Alcohol is totally covered by these strong flavors. No bitterness just tartness in its place. Really almost like a desert wine.
Feels thick and slick, but not unpleasent.
I would not be able to handle too many of these.
This would be really good with vanilla ice cream or a plain cheesecake. A killer reduction sauce could be made out of this stuff.
Serving type: bottle
