Not being a huge sour drinker, or at least uninitiated, I found this beer to be very accessible and refreshing. Strong cherry/sour cherry taste, more vinegar in the nose. Great late summer beer to sip while relaxing in the shade. The carbonation really made this beer creep up on me and I really liked the sensation. Would definitely drink again.

A: Pours a crystal clear deep crimson red in color with significant amounts of active visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass along with some purplish red highlights (not dissimilar to the color of a lot of red wines). The beer has a half finger tall fizzy pinkish purple head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of cherries over some lighter aromas of oak. There is a light to moderate amount of gueze-like tartness present as well.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of cherries and sour cherries that is followed by some lighter flavors of oak. In the finish, there is a light amount of sourness and vinegar flavors.
M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: Not as sour as I expected from the style (Flanders Red Ale) but that is likely due to the cherry sweetness. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

A: The beer is clear dark red in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high pink head that gradually died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of cherries are present in the nose along with hints of sweetness and oak.
T: Like the smell, the taste is quite fruity and has lots of cherry flavors along with notes of sourness and oak. Hints of vinegar are perceptible in the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink as there's enough fruitiness from the cherries to prevent this from becoming too sour.
