Poured from the tap into a growler and enjoyed at home.
Poured into a pint glass.
Color: Dark red, definitely more on the red side than amber. Small white head that dissipates quickly, and leaves nary a lace.
The smell is of biscuity malt, christmas spices, and cascade hops.
This is definitely a christmas beer. Medium bodied red ale malts, festive spices, light hop flavor. Not very bitter at all - this beer hides its 69 IBUs very well.
Overall an average beer. Nothing spectacular, but worth trying.
Serving type: growler
