Pours a clear gold color with a white head.

Not much aroma, a little grassy maybe, but the head continues to last as a ring around the surface.

Nice soft hops with a good, wheaty flavor. Not real impressive though, pretty run-of-the-mill. I've had many better home brewed wheats.

Appearance – This is a nice, deep orange in color but lacked ay sort of head.

Smell – The light fruitiness and vegetable aroma isn’t strong but certainly noticeable. It has an earthy character to it with some light citrus notes.

Taste – The earthy vegetation is a bit harsh at the taste and there is really very little fruity sweetness. I don’t get any wheat whatsoever.

Mouthfeel – This is light-bodied and lacks any significant carbonation.

Drinkability – It sounds worse than it is. This isn’t a bad beer, although I wouldn’t want to drink more than one in a sitting.

This stuff is very weak and not worth wasting your time on, there are too many decent/good/great wheats out there!
Light straw, abit cloudy, very minimal yeast/wheat/malt flavor, abit sour, fairly high carbonation. Minimal redeaming qualities, to report on this one.

Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is strong wheat and citrus. The flavor is corn, wheat and some lemon citrus. Light mouthfeel and medium carbonation. There is nothing wrong with this beer, but there is not much going on either. Not one to seek out.

A fine beer, nothing remarkable but adequately refreshing. Of course this is not a hefe, nor does it claim to be. Vaguely hazy gold with fine, dense head leaving lace. Appealing aroma. Not as thin as many wheat beers, to good effect; a little bit of fruitiness underneath the sweet malt indicates the wheat. Reminiscent of a Polish pilsner without the hops. A bitter yeast finish paves the way for lingering neutral aftertaste. On a hot day I imagine this would really hit the spot. Certainly the best Irish wheat beer I have tried; never mind that it's the only one.

Very clear darker yellow color (color of an 80 proof Bourbon), 1/2 inch head, very pale and frothy. Slight smells of lemon oil and hay. Malty flavor, slightly caramel. Mouthfeel is decent. Not a lot of hops but very little Wheat beer quality either, lacks esters, etc. In many ways, a slightly heavier Blonde in impression. Drinkable but mediocre. Not so sure what's "traditional" about it, as a style...

Not that impressive. Little aroma and flavour, slightly spicy, slightly fruity (bit of citrus and banana), very easy to drink, not overly interesting, and thin bodied.

pours an expected golden cloudy color, but doesn't seem too opaque. nice head, good lacing.

nose is a very fresh, lively sense of yeast and, yes, wheat. crisp. dead of winter, sure, but i bet this will be a treat in the spring and summer. and fall. actually, getting a sense of light CARAMEL. impressive.

taste is both lighter than what the nose suggests, but more complex. easy entry that leads to a (good) sourness.mouthfeel of much carbonation still allows alot of bready character to flow in. very crisp.

a true pub session brew. not particularly irish, but i could weave a knot with this an Guinness all night. maybe tonight if i can get myself out and get some Guinness...

Hazy, yet dull yelow hue, thin, vanishing head. Wheaty aroma. Off the cuff, crisp wheaty flavorings, a large, overpowering metallic feel, becomes offensive. Rather light bodied, reserved tartiness, sweet/sour palate. Lemony and quite sour, does have a malty backbone, with some biscuity notes in the body. Certainly not an award winner, borderline passing for the style.

A large white creamy head that contained fine-small sized bubbles. The body was carbonated and slight hazy with a golden hue.The nose was slightly fruity, malty and banana. The flavor was lightly hopped with a smooth and tingly mouthfeel. There was virtually no lacing on the sides of my glass.

Golden straw with an average size, off white head. small patches of sticky lace left behind.

Wheat is barley perceptable in the aroma. I had to double check the lable to make sure.

Flavor is light wheat, bread and spicy hops.
Finish is light and dry.

12 oz bottle poured into glass tumbler.

Golden-clear with a very thin head and no lacing. Alcohol is pretty moderate and grainy.

Orange, grapefruit, and honey in the smell and granola and a mild hop structure. Almost non-existant malt body with a dry, round finish and moderate combination.

Weak, but well-balanced. Really not much more to say about this. Wasn't a big fan.

Poured from a 11.2 ounce bottle into a weizen glass.

Clear golden body with a nice sized off-white head. Decent head retention. Smells more like a pale Euro lager than a wheat ale. Slick and sweet mouthfeel. Seems a little too bland. I really don't know what to make of this beer. It really seems like they just added some wheat malt to a pale lager. Very underwhelming. At least it has high drinkability.

Pours out a clear pale straw color with a thick white head that never fully leaves. Vague fruity esters and a somewhat grainy wheat aroma. A sharp crispness from the wheat leads nicely into the beer with some mroe lighter fruit tones that aren't very individualized. The finish is of a crisp metallic taste. The overall crispness of this brew would make it rather refreshing for the summer, especially with its medium-light body but for the price I would rather just get an american equivalent and save some money. Not a bad everyday drinking beer but their are cheaper brews that are at least as good.

I was curious what an Irish wheat beer would taste like. Unfortunately I think I'll stick to the German stuff for wheat beers! Not to say this was bad by any means.. just nothing special either. It pours a respectable golden color, with a slight hint of cloudiness but nothing to really suggest a true unfiltered weiss. The head was respectable and it did leave a fair amount of laceing.

The taste had a hint of banana and the wheat taste was unmistakeable, but it lacked any of the complexity or bite of a traditional weiss beer. All in all. it was an okay beer, but when there is so much better to choose from in this style why bother?

The Glen Ellyn Binny's was selling single bottles of this stuff for $1.99 each, so I picked one up. Never heard of this beer or brewery before so I don't know what to expect. 330ml brown bottle with no freshness date.

The beer poured a slightly hazed gold color and made a 1 finger white head that lasted awhile. The lacing was pretty decent.

A pleasant mix of wheat, malt, and ripe bananas make up the smell.

This beer needs a booster shot. There's lots of stuff in here, just not enough of it. I could pick out wheat, malt, bananas, and cloves up front, then the finish is the only place I could detect any hops. It's not bad, it just feels diluted.

Fairly light body with only moderate carbonation.

Easy to drink with no alcohol taste as all.

Had off the tap at Barcade in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
A-- Has an orangish color with some cloudiness. Some head and little lacing.
S-- Malty scent. I was expecting more wheat.
T-- Has kind of a sour wheat taste. Some vegetable, celery flavor. Malty. Kind of acidic aftertaste. Feels more like a basic lager than a wheat. Meh.

Bland and boring. All other description is simply an enlargement on those terms, but here goes: Poured a hazy golden with minimal head. Not much aroma of any kind, perhaps a bit of muted malt. Flavor was slightly tart without any yeast phenols at all. Malt was slightly crackery, fading to a spritzy nothingness at the finish.

Appearance- Straw-amber in color, with white head and decent lace.

Smell- Dry cereal grain, wheat, slight fruity sweetness.

Taste- Fairly dry crispness, lots of cereal grain, wheat, some hoppy bitterness brings about a decent balance. Clean and fairly refreshing.

Mouthfeel- light-medium body, with decent carbonation.

Drinkability- Refreshing, maybe a decent session beer if not for the pretty strong dryness. I'm glad I tried it, but doubt I'll pick it up again.
