Make no mistake...this is not Liquor Outlet in Boonton, but that being said, I was pleasantly surprised that this place, which I entered on a whim when grocery shopping with my wife, had some decent micros like Unibroue, Ramstein, Smuttynose, Stone, Victory, River Horse, etc. The selection wasn't extensive, but at least what they had was very good. Since the first trip, I've continued to go back and give them feedback in the hopes of getting them to carry a greater selection. Hopefully it works, as killing two birds with one grocery trip on a weekly basis would be fantastic.

This is one of those better-than-average-but-not-really-impressive places as bar as beer goes.. They have dogfish 60 usually and 90 sometimes.. Sam Adams seasonals, flying fish, long trail, and unibrou and that's sort of it as for as crafts go. Other than that just macro stuff.. Within the immediate area it's the best option (and they have an extensive wine selection, if interested), but if you're not in a hurry you might as well take the 15 or so minutes to go to Wine/liquor depot in boonton (whichever the name is)..

Located right off Rte 46 (past the small town area of Rockaway) the Shoprite Liquor store is attached to the grocery store but with a separate entrance. Being a grocery store, parking should not be a real problem.
The first thing I noticed when entering were several signs that proclaimed you could not purchase alcohol at Shoprite with an out-of-state driver's license. With that in mind, unless you are CLEARLY over 21, you may be in for some problems buying anything here. I think that is a stupid policy so the "Service" score is being dinged accordingly. Unfortunately I saw the same sign at all of the Shoprite Liquor stores I visited.
The good news is you can actually find some good beers here. Some notables were Chimay, Pocono, Victory etc. Unfortunately none of the local/regional stuff was available in singles. Aside from the usual macro bombers/Asahi etc., Sam Smith's were about the only worthwhile singles.
The staff is about the level of knowledge you would expect working for a grocery store chain.
Overall, I am sure there are beer stores with better selection but this is definitely worth a stop if you are in the immediate area.
