This stuff is really quite bad.
If the original appearance is any judge of this brews character, it is very accurate. It arrived a very thin and slightly murky yellow. The head was pleasing for a very short time then it left to find its true self, leaving behind a light lace and similar ring.
Oddly, the carbonation is heavier than anticipated.
The body is as weak as the colour.
The nose is mildly grainy.
The body is light.
The taste is an odd assortment...first impression is flat and that of cardboard...second impression is flat and that of a light citrus quality.

Cerveza con una cabeza espumosa que se desaparece en segundos. Aroma a lúpulo y maíz. En boca es ligera y con un dejo de sabor a cereales. Más fácil de recordar por el diseño de su botella que por su sabor.

From Festival de las Naciones. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing The Silent Age. Light and watery, with some grassyness and a bit of lemony acidness that feel out of place and spoils it a bit

Another Russian beer. Pours a quite pale golden color, clear, with a decent white head of average retention.
The aroma is pleasantly malty and grainy, easily picked up by the nose.
The taste is slightly sweet at first, followed by a very nicely balanced body and a pleasantly bitter finish.
One of the nicer Russian pilseners I had.

Old scribbled note with ASTMO grades, but it's accurate nonetheless:

sweet grainy malts, a bit syrupy, especially in the aftertaste ; some fruitiness, but still low (faint acidic apple, some lemon zest, faint ripe fruit); fresh hay, grass, herbal notes; still the hops are not too great, providing a metallic bitterness; a light lager, not skunky and corny, but still average

A: transparent gold, with lots of fast rising carbonation, sustaining the single finger foam head.
S: slightly metallic, crisp, barely sweet honey malt.
T: Terrible, sour, one of the most putrid beers I've had.
Instant dump, absolutely undrinkable.

500ml bottle. Lager glass. Enjoyed on jun´12. Bright golden color, chill haze. Crown is white, small size bubbled & fairly good retention. Spoty sides. Slightly sulphur, moderate grainy, grassy & yeasty aromas. Clean bitterness at first sip. Crispy upfront & citric notes. Grainy palate. Light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Long bitter finish. Pretty correct.

Poured a slightly hazy golden-amber color with modest white creamy head. Sporadic lacing.
Smell is suggestive of light summer fruits.
Taste also has a pleasant fruitiness, with notes of apricots and apples.
Finish is a bit thin, with a distinct note of hops at the very end.
A good refreshing summer beer.

I try to approach beers with a pretty open mind, giving them the benefit of the doubt. There’s usually a silver lining in somewhere in most brews. This one, though, is downright awful. Sampled during a recent gathering of homebrewing friends, this one is dull, thin, and lifeless. Atop a light yellow liquid, the small head initially forms, but quickly fades into obscurity. Low carbonation. The nose is of grass and cereal…and in the most seriously adjunct sort of way. A bit grainy, with a hint of sweetness in the front. Nearly no hops, and a distracting metallic flavor. It’s a little vegetal in the in the finish, which is weak and lifeless. It’s been a while since I’ve been this disappointed and unenthused with a beer.

Very ordinary Russian lager scoring some extra points for clarity and high quality standards maintained in last 5 yrs. It's pale, forms a beautiful snow-white crowns that falls in a minute or two, doesn't decorate your glass with fine lace or entertain your nose with exotic aroma. Taste is rather bland, reminding Western mass-market lagers. Good thirst-quencher, anyway.
