On tap at source. Old brewery with interesting architecture.
A - A deep auburn color with little head.
S - Malty, almost peach-like scent. Maybe from the hops added in?
T - Fairly malty all the way through. Nothing craptacular stands out about this beer though.
M - Finishes with smoothy maltiness. Although
D - Definitely a good accompaniment to some fried foods or appetizers.

Pours a ruddy copper with some amber around the edges. Head quickly fades and leaves sporadic lacing at best.
I was amazed at the amount of aroma coming from this brew. The amazed part was at the strength not the content. Powerfull toasted malts. The taste was just awful, a complete debacle of a beer that really has no direction. Malts are up front and the best part of the beer in my opinion, then comes this wave of unrefined, raw, bitter, sour like hop presence. It's not that its too powerful in the hop department its that they are bad and misplaced completely. Something may have gone wrong in the brewing process of this brew and noting the bottom line they may have had to bottle it up and sell it regardless of its condition. Finishes lingering and syrupy, there is nothing refreshing about this beer.
Notes: One and done.

Transluscent, soap bubble collar over a mostly clear deep red color. Light black cherry and bubblegum over caramel malts and the slightest bit of alcohol.
Unfelt in the nose, stark bittering hops clench the throat on the intake, followed by toasted notes, just enough to lend a hand in the syrupy thickness. Not too complex -- but solid.
A sandwich in every glass? Well, body is medium to heavy..

The head was very thin, if not inexistent. The body looked muddy, brown and slightly orange. The smell is malty, almost grainy, with less of a fruity character than expected for a style. Still, some light grapefruit in it. Bubble gum and maybe some caramel with notes of alcohol. The taste also is less fruity than I would hope for the style. I get more grain than I would want, but the chocolaty touch that appears is nice. The alcohol is kind of poorly hidden imho. Mouthfeel might be a bit thin, in spite of the apparent thickness, but overall it is ok. The aftertaste is kind of chewy on the palate, showing cherries and some roasted (almost burnt) notes too. Kind of a disappointment for me.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: Dark brown with hints of red. Decent head which laces the glass well.
Smell: Very sweet. From a foot away it has a very malty or grainy smell. With my nose at the rim of the glass it has a very strong scent of apple.
Taste: Apple juice. It's also quite bitter with a sort of dirty aftertaste. But mostly it just tastes like apple juice.
Mouthfeel: It is very thick and pretty smooth.
This beer caught me completely off guard. I was certainly not expecting a thick, bitter, apple juice flavored beer. That being said once I accepted these facts and settled down to drink it, I enjoyed it. This is, as the Kelley Brothers Brewing Company said, "Not recommended for the recently weaned American Pilsner beer drinker."

Muddy brown color, small head. Malty and very hoppy. Muddy taste. Not sure what this stuff is, but it isn't very good. Harsh tasting, overly hopped with not enough malts to balance them. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is harsh. Aftertaste is very bitter. I need to brush my teeth. Don't know what's worse, that I still have 5 bottles of this swill left, or I spent $7 for a sixer. They built this brewery in a old burnt out theater and I'm kind of hoping for another fire!

I was excited to see this micro breweries beer in the local store over the weekend. I was letdown. Color was a deep red and head and lace were good. Aroma was of malt and fruit, I thought cherries, which I found a little different from the norm. Taste was lingering and not very attractive to me. Hoppiness was good but the cherry flavor was too prominent. Decent mouthfeel but I won't buy it again.
