Very light haze. Very pale straw color. The head whipped up great. Looked awesome for about fifteen seconds, then it almost completely deflated.

Grassy wheat malts, lemon, some yeast phenolic aromas with medicinal notes, and a smidge of light smoke. Nice.

Standard weisse flavors of light wheat, tangy lacto tartness, lemon, and there's some more added phenolics. Not as grassy as the nose, but those herbaceous qualities are there. Thin-bodied, with a good combo of carbonation rustle and esophagus tartness sting. More acidic feeling than it is sour. Likeable.

Appearance: Perfectly clear wheat gold. Head start bright white, lively, loose, and bubbly. Drops to a nonexistent cap and collar almost instantly. Solid but not aggressive carbonation.

Smell: Mild pale bready malt coupled with a decent amount of wheat and a soft lactic tartness. Hints of lemon, grass clippings, and a mild hint of citrus. A touch of apple skin and some vague fruity elements. Light and balanced.

Taste: Some lemon juice and zest. A touch of grass with some very mild earthy elements. Malts carry a nice soft wheat presence with a mild lactic edge. Clean with some slight pale malt sweetness and a touch of snappy cracker. Some hints of apple and a very very mild hint of raw honey.

Mouthfeel: Light body. A touch dry. Light to moderate carbonation.

Overall: Summer road trip approved.

Clean and easy take. Just tart enough. Typically solid Ithaca "sour."

Poured from a growler into a pint glass
A: Pale, yellow with a hint of orange. A one-finger head quickly dissipates
S: Wheat and sour citrus
T: Citrus (mostly lemon) with wheat and a bit of grass on the finish
M: Light-bodied, sour and crisp
O: A bit simple but very refreshing, especially with the low alcohol and high acidity

This beer is very light in appearance with a light straw color. It's mildly hazy too.
A tall head forms on the pour but doesn't last.
The aroma is faint and mostly malts. Present too is lemons and yeast but real subtle.
The taste is sour malty and refreshing. Hints of fruit and sour lactic acid come through but not by much.
Drinks thin with a tart sour bitter dry finish.
Not a style I'm particular fond off but it's pretty good.
