Light orange colored golden hue, almost like a syrup like consistency in appearance. Little head and minimal lacing to match.
Candied fruit on the nose, most notably apricot, obviously, with hints of lemon and tangerine. Wheat characteristics are detectable as well, although very muted by the fruit.
Very tangy with a bit of a sour kick throughout. As with the nose, a lot of citrus fruit presence with the faintest hint of hops in the back. The apricot is almost too overwhelming for my tastes; this is supposed to be a wheat beer with fruit accents, but it tastes almost like a spiked cider.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation. A bit of a syrup like quality as well. Finishes crisp, dry and clean.
Overall, the apricot flavor seems extracted and fake, completely overbearing any other present flavors. Interesting to try, but horrendously balance and just not my thing.
