Looks, smells, and has the mouthfeel of a traditional Pale Ale, IMO. Has a nice citrusy forward bite which mellows slightly on the way down. There is a bitterness that pleases pale ale lovers but people who dont wont like it. Carbonation was fine and there was some lacing down the glass. I dont get much for malts or any sweetness like some reported. But, its a pale ale and I dont want that anyways. A solid choice for the style and its never expensive.

Pours cloudy amber-gold with a creamy white head that leaves lots of streaky lacing. Aromas of pine resin and grapefruit hops with a solid caramel malt backbone. Simple, but nicely done. Taste consists of more American hops - pine resin and grapefruit, with a slightly toasted caramel malt profile. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is nice and crisp, with a medium body and good carbonation. Overall a solid Pale Ale, no real complaints here.

Poured from a bottle into a tumbler pint, the beer is a bright, orange-gold coloring with a filmy, off-white head. Aromas of citrus and caramel blending, with a slight hoppy blending. Flavors of peppery and resiny hops forward on the initial tongue with a slick, caramel rich backbone. The aftertaste is roasty and bitter, with a rich, bitter finish. Good, solid lacing along the glass as you go. Decent, but middle of the road at best.
