A - Just shy of two fingers worthy of light tan colored head that is equal parts fluffy and creamy... Impressive retention... The deepest and dark of bronze colors with a faint crimson hue... Full of carbonation that starts slow and picks up some pace as it rises... The faintest of hazes...
S - A subdued but distinctive hop presence that is both citrusy and piney... A mild layer of caramel malt lies beneath... Simple, straight forward, and effective...
T - Wonderful balance... The cascade hops are foremost, but only by a hair... They are joined by a sweet toasty malt base... Some hints of wood and smoke can be noted on the finish along with a lingering mild bitterness...
M - The creamy head touches the lips first followed by a slight biting carbonation... Medium bodied... Dense...
D - A tasty and enjoyable treat from Ithaca... Hides the 7% ABV very well... Quaffable and quenching... Solid all the way around... An assertive and formidable American Red Ale...
