a hazy golden orange with 2 fingers of froth white head which gave off extreme amounts of lacing. head dissipation was very slow and even. the smell? well, as funky as brett gets really.. this is one of the most brett forward beers i've smelled.. funky wet hay for sure, manure even, dare i say it.. jasmine flowers, smells pretty damn awesome honestly. very tart in flavor, citrusy lemon peel, with a peppery kick, a skunky barnyard taste that refuses to leave the palate.. the grain bill is hard to figure out as most of the flavors come from the yeast.. there is a very bready characteristic to this. some coriander perhaps.
a medium body beer with a decent amount of carbonation. this is a fantastic beer, and i am honestly shocked at the rating on it.. it's not even a 4? really... this is almost a 5 in my book, and this is coming from a dude who's had a LOT of beers.

Batch E!047

I've had this a number of times and each batch is a little different. Pour is a hazy gold though it gets much more hazy as you get towards the bottom of the bottle. This beer has the characteristics of a brett fermented beer and it has developed nicely at approximately 9 mo to 1 yr of age. It has a bright yeasty fruitiness (apple and white grape with a touch of citrus) with some white pepper and a touch of tartness. There is a barnyard funkiness that keeps things interesting. There is a bit of sweetness and alcohol presence that moderates some of the refreshing aspects. Pleasantly effervescent. Overall, an enjoyable and nicely executed beer with brett yeast that develops with a little bit of age.

Massive rocky white head that seems to linger for a dog's age. Pale straw body

Scent is damp hay, vinegar, lemon, and pine tar.

Taste is sour lemon and pale grains. Big Brett. Finishes very dry and a bit astringent.

Highly carbonated and very lively on the tongue.

For an $11 bomber there's not too much to be dissappointed over.
Though it lacks a bit of depth, it's very enjoyable and I'd certainly pick one up again.

Volcanic eruption upon opening.

Pours... absolute foam. Can't see any beer. The entire glass is foam. I've never seen anything like this. After a few minutes I can see a fraction of light golden opacity. The color is good, but it's just a glass of foam.

Smells of Belgian yeast, wheat, bubblegum, actually kind of smells skunky.

Nothing impressing me, weaker tasting wheat beer. Slightly more Belgian but nothing special. Salty aftertaste, like prosciutto. A bit funky and skunky.

Ridiculous amount of carbonation, thin and overly bubbly.

Not a really good wheat beer. Would pass on this in the future without a doubt.
