A- poured into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy but bright orange-yellow color with a two-finger white creamy head with good retention and a bit if lacing. A few floaters swimming around the glass
S-fresh juicy tropical fruit, sweet pineapple juice and mangos. The hops are citrusy and fruity and a bit oily, slight sweet malt on the finish
T- the tropical flavors follow the nose with notes of pineapple and grassy tones, a bit of honey mid-palate pairs with a bready sweetness, the finish is dry-yet-bitter with some pine and grassy linger
M- medium body, low carbonation, velvety and creamy mouthfeel that turns to silk, providing a smooth finish
O- this drinks like a DIPA, but is very well balanced. I especially liked the pineapple-like notes.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip glass.
A: Mostly translucent gold coloring with a very minimal head.
S: Some light pine and citrus hop aromas take over the glass pretty much immediately.
T: Pine and citrus are immediate, followed by a sticky hop finish that has you going right back in for another sip. The hop characteristics permeate every bit of the beer.
M: Crisp, clean finish with mild carbonation. Not overly heavy at all, despite a solid ABV (7.5%).
O: Flower Power is among my favorite beers, IPA or otherwise. It inhabits its own unique place in the East Coast IPA range (not being overly malty or hoppy) and would contend with the best from the opposite coast as well. Best of all, it's readily available in the Northeast. Drink as much as you can.
