A - Looks like standard IPA fare into a tulip pint. Beautiful clear copper body with nice streams of bubbles. A frothy, creamy white head sits atop for ages. Nice lacing.

S - The Simcoe really takes the foreground, with C hops in the back, as well as a nice, sweet, malt. Super floral, and I hate saying that with a name like Flower Power. It is a nice smelling IPA, if a little overdone.

T - Not as overdone as the nose, and finishes very dry and light. Not very bitter at all. Mostly green hops up front, and a sweet, fruity malt. Almost tea-like bitterness. Everything is well integrated, and there's nothing off. Not the best IPA ever, but certainly nothing to scoff at.

M - Good, not great. A little too attenuated and crisp for my liking, however I can see where some would be really really into it.

D - Definitely on par with most quality IPA's. It's well-rounded enough to enjoy multiple bottles, though I only have one. *Edit* Holy cow this is 8%? Bumped up half a notch.

Notes: Ithaca Beer Co hasn't failed to impress me yet. Rated it all 4's because frankly, it's a "good" beer. Another thing... at 8%, isn't that a bit much for a standard AIPA?

12 oz. bottle with good through month notched at Feb. 2012, poured into a shaker pint.

Hazy, light golden with a 1.5 finger head. Pungent hop aroma smacks the nostrils. Grass, lemon, orange zest. Taste is a great balance of hop and sweet malty backbone, lingering bitterness coats the tongue. Very drinkable. This is a top-tier East Coast IPA.

Been Wanting to try this for a while now. Thanks Randy!

This has a very nice aroma, with smells of grapefruit & orange.
It pours a hazy golden-orange with an inviting white head of more than a finger, which stuck around for a short curtain call.
A real clean citrus hop start, yeilding to a resiny pine middle and a slight sweetness.
Good dry finish
Overall, I am enjoying this quite a bit and can't find much wrong here.
