Served on tap at Mugs Alehouse in Brooklyn, NY
A: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall white head that reduces by about 50% but the remainder is retained. Significant lacing is observed.
S: Lots of floral hops aromas with some more subtle hints of citrus and pine.
T: Slightly light in the flavor but there are a lot of floral hints and some notes of the citrus and pine hops as well. I would describe the flavor as refreshing.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Extremely easy to drink and very refreshing - definitely a session beer and one that we all often get when we go out and want something easy to find and dependable.

12 oz bottle just under 3 weeks old. Fresh to death.
A: Lighter colored ipa, between Straw and Honey in color. Decent head, left a bit of lacing. Slightly hazy, not super clean/filtered.
S: Best aspect of beer, very pungent. Although I expected more floral/herbal from name, I get a lot of sweet tropical fruits, along with fresh flowers mixed in as well. Pineapple,
T: Sweet Tropical fruits up front, mango/pineapple/grapefruit, then more of a pine/lime bitterness with a hint of honey malt mixed in. Very little malt, its all honey. Finishes with a bright tropical citrus, pineapple papaya. Leaves palate dry ad slightly fatigued. Big flavors.
M: Seemed a bit under carbonated, did have a pleasant softness to it. More creamy than oily texture. Very unsessionable as it raped my palate. Not much alcohol presence considering ABV.
O: Definitely more of a west coast IPA, reminds me of Union Jack with a bit less malt prescence. Its not balanced at all,I would like a touch more malt. The hop extraction/flavors are pretty awesome though. Very tropical and bitter.

UPDATE: I got a fresh bottle today and it completely changed my mind about this beer. The grapefruit and mango flavors are completely off the charts. The bitterness is spot on and the malt balance borders on perfection. I've adjusted my scores to reflect the fresh bottle but let the original review be a warning to those who are thinking about picking up a bottle or two that is past its prime.
Quick Story- I've been wnating to try this for some tim enow but never really got around to it. This weekend I packed the family int he car and took a trip to see my parents. On the way, I stopped to pick up a six pack when I saw Flower Power. I did not see a brewed on date so I consulted the clerk and was assured it was fresh. After tasting the beer, I know it wasn't fresh but unfortunately, thats all I have to go off of.
Appearance: Very nice white head rises above a beautiful copper body. Perfect for the style.
Smell: Yikes! Nothing but malt and sugar. The slightest hint of bittering hops. I was expecting some big citrus flavors with floral and earthy hops mixed in for good measure. Nothing.
Taste: Follows the nose. No hops up front, just a strong caramel malt with some cloying sweetness. The aftertaste is quite bitter, more in line with a barleywine. Honestly as a barleywine this would work better. Add some roasted malt and you'd be in good shape.
Mouthfeel: Low carb and heavy body. The unbalanced bitterness is kind of tough.
I plan to give this beer another shot but for the time being, this is all I have.

A-hazy copper color with a nice 1 finger head.
S-lots of floral hops in the nose. Piney and delicious. Note:I am not a huge hop head and find this to be a great balance of hops to malt.
T-Piney hops right on the front of the tongue with a nice malt character lurking in the background. Not over powerful hops and great balance. Awesome job Ithaca!!
M-clean and crisp, what more can you ask for.
