The hype and the name of this one make it hard to really give high praise. I mean a 92 on the site with a name like flower power? That said I love IPAs and can't stand waiting to dive in!
Ultra filtered clarity (sadly) with a good bit of head and amazing layered lacing. It's a good look but damn stop filtering beers!!!
A wonderful floral aroma from the hops with subtle malt aromas.
This is an intense hop bomb. Hops dominate every aspect and they take on a plethora of elements. Everything from citrus t floral to hints of vegetables. Orange, pine, lemon and apricots all take a moment.
Wonderfulness and drinkable and enjoyable to no end.
I want more! A very solid example of the style. I love IPAs and this is no failure!

A: Hazy golden orange color with a large head that dissipates and leaves a little lacing.
S: Smell is wonderful. Tropical fruit, citrus, pine and herbs all come forward from the hops and the sweet malt.
T: Also, wow. Sweetness in the background upon which hop flavor piles up, creating a huge assortment of flavor. Mango, pineapple, strawberry, lime zest, grapefruit and pine. Very clean, slightly bitter finish that lingers for quite a while.
M: Medium body, good carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. Hops really dig into your tongue.
O: Not sure if this is the best IPA I've had, but it's definitely among the top, along with Founders Red's Rye, Smuttynose and SN Torpedo. Great stuff from my home state. Cheers!

Poured from a growler into my Otter Creek nonic.
Pale, golden orange fills the glass, quite transparent and clean. Half an inch of bubbly white head dissipates quickly, leaving a web of soapy lacing. There's a very nice floral quality to the smell, so Ithaca gets points for appropriately naming this particular brew. A few notes of pine needles lead into quite a bit of fruitiness. Not just the usual citrusy blends typical of IPAs, but a whole array of sweet nuances, including apricot and a hint of pear. Quite nice!
The fruitiness is right there in the first sip, with sweet and clean malt notes coupling with a juicy hop kick to create a flavorful taste on the tongue. Some mild grassy notes are detectable as well. Bitterness is present, but subdued, which suits me just fine. Rounds out with a very mild pucker from the hops, with a very slight aftertaste. Mouthfeel is on point for the style, with a medium body and a drying finish.
A well-done IPA from a reputable East Coast brewery. The West Coast is known for doing the IPA, but it's nice to know that even in my home state, Eastern IPAs are well-
represented and definitely well-executed.

Had on tap at Peculier Pub NYC
A: Golden and hazy, with a creamy, silky smooth, wonderful head that leaves an artistic lacing.
S: Hop and citrus notes. Very big hop notes(peach, tangerine, apricot)..
T: Like most IPA's the taste follows the nose. Big hop flavor, upfront and unapologetic. A different style of hop blend produces a effervescent, yet earthy hop profile. Grapefruit, tangerine, and clementine round out the hop character. Malt is here for a balance and really is hidden. Dry aftertaste.
M: Medium body, high carbonation, and very bitter.
O: Very nice IPA for a hop head. Has a dynamic blend of hops that does produce a sort of floral overtone, but not enough to name the beer flower power. I'd say the best you'd get in terms of flower aroma would be a dried out rose or lilly, bought at say, michaels or ac moore. I enjoyed the effort from a brewery I'll probably be seeing more of soon.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a DFH Snifter:
A-Orange, opaque with a finger of head that hangs out for a bit and then leaves lacing nicely down the sides of the glass
S-Awesome, fruit, pine, citrus, definitely aptly named because the floral presence is excellent
T-Also really fine stuff, the bitterness is just right and everything is in balance
M-Outstanding, just about perfect, not too astringent and nothing on the back end to detract
O-This is really an excellent AIPA, in my book it might be on a a par with Celebration...
