On tap at the Tuscany Brewhouse in a pint glass

Straw and honey appearance nice light head and perfect lacing as it recedes.

The extra love this beer gets is evident right away
serious dry hopping, huge citrus grapefruit bitters and
sticky resinous pine. 7 different hops all come through in layered effect.

My only complaint is mouth feel it was lighter than expected

Pours a nice hop orange with a solid head and excellent retention. Decent lacing as well.

The aroma is citrus with biscuit malt. A slight amount of pine comes through as well.

The taste is actually somewhat balanced. At the same time, it doesn't sacrifice the typical bitter IPA edge that I love. It has a nice citrus edge to it but works in some pine and grapefruit as well. The finish is perhaps more bitter than the taste and it's all very smooth.

The body is medium/heavy fullness, and medium weight. The finish is mildly dry with slight stickiness.

Overall, this is a well crafted IPA. I thought this was somewhat like Two Hearted actually but with a slight bit more malt. I'm glad to have tried this and won't hesitate to buy it if I'm out east.

First time, decent hype on this, after pouring and smelling I see why. Foggy orange appearance with avg. head. Smell is flawless, floral with almost pollen like dustiness, musky pungency and some sweet citrus. Flower power is an appropriate way to describe the smell. Taste is also very well balanced. Pretty bitter up front with a clementine finish, bitter aftertaste. Pretty light body, perfect level of carbonation. Could smell this one all day, taste is bitter and juicy. This should go down as one of the best in its style I have had. Very distinct from the others.

Thanks to Timothy for this fresh 12oz bottle.

Pours a mostly clear light golden color with a small soapy white head that leaves some clumps of bubbles along the top and some streaks of lacing on the sides.

Aroma is light and citrusy with pineapple and grapefruit and some crisp biscuity malts in the background. Also a little bit of floral pine coming through.

Taste has tons of pithy grapefruit up front, really juicy with some peach and mango. The malts are a little sweeter than the aroma and the finish is bitter with herbal hops standing out.

Mouthfeel is sticky and on the heavier side as IPAs go though this one is pretty big for a standard IPA.

This is a really enjoyable IPA with lots of juicy citrus and pleasant bitterness. Really, really good.

Hazy straw with a white foamy head with some nice soap like lacing. Slight bubbles.

Wow! Sweet peach, floral and grapefruit. That's it and that's all it needs for aroma.

Big time grapefruit, sweet malt, bread, caramel, than slight bitterness comes in. Very tasty.

Light body, smooth, barely noticeable carbonation.

This is a great IPA! Very close to a Imperial but stays just under that classification. This is should be on the list for top IPA's.

The hype and the name of this one make it hard to really give high praise. I mean a 92 on the site with a name like flower power? That said I love IPAs and can't stand waiting to dive in!

Ultra filtered clarity (sadly) with a good bit of head and amazing layered lacing. It's a good look but damn stop filtering beers!!!

A wonderful floral aroma from the hops with subtle malt aromas.

This is an intense hop bomb. Hops dominate every aspect and they take on a plethora of elements. Everything from citrus t floral to hints of vegetables. Orange, pine, lemon and apricots all take a moment.

Wonderfulness and drinkable and enjoyable to no end.

I want more! A very solid example of the style. I love IPAs and this is no failure!

A: Hazy golden orange color with a large head that dissipates and leaves a little lacing.

S: Smell is wonderful. Tropical fruit, citrus, pine and herbs all come forward from the hops and the sweet malt.

T: Also, wow. Sweetness in the background upon which hop flavor piles up, creating a huge assortment of flavor. Mango, pineapple, strawberry, lime zest, grapefruit and pine. Very clean, slightly bitter finish that lingers for quite a while.

M: Medium body, good carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. Hops really dig into your tongue.

O: Not sure if this is the best IPA I've had, but it's definitely among the top, along with Founders Red's Rye, Smuttynose and SN Torpedo. Great stuff from my home state. Cheers!
