Sampled last night on 7/27/14. Label is different that picture showed. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a brandy snifter glass.
Pours a very deep brown, black actually in color with a small beige head. Some spotty lacing is seen. Perfect carbonation. The aroma is very nice and consists of roasted coffee, hint of licorice and dark chocolate. More going on with the taste actually with lots of flavor from the above flavors with a hint of light spice even. This is a sipper type of brew and not a chugging type. Goes down easy and seem to get better with more sips. Well balanced overall.

Pours a dark brown color with a good size brown head that dissipates quickly. A little bit of lacing.
Smells of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Lightly toasted malts. Just a slight hint of booze. Not the most complex of aromas. Could benefit from a few more scents.
Taste goes right along with the aroma. Boy, is this one smooth, too. Roasted coffee and chocolate lead the way. The coffee really sticks on the tongue. More roasted malts on the back end. Pretty well balanced. The taste does a lot more for this beer than the aroma. It's not the strongest tasting Stout out there, but it is well balanced.
Mouthfeel is not too heavy. One of the lighter stouts I've ever had. Surprisingly watery (not criticism, just observation).
Overall this a good stout, but it is a bit on the mild side. Still solid.
