With an enticing, bready maltiness characteristic of Marzen-style lagers, Octoberfest is a radiant amber colored brew that finishes crisp and clean. Enjoy this fall seasonal as summer turns to autumn and the colors of the Northwoods are ablaze.

Central Waters Oktoberfest

Hazy orange coloration, slim head.

Aroma: dry, cereal grain husks, minor hops,

Taste: pleasantly sweet, malty flavor. Bright, and tasty. Nicely carbonated, Medium bodied, great malt profile.

Doesn't stand out to much, impress in any regard, except how danged delicious it is. And delicious, it is.
Ends a little dry, but stays tasty.

From a can canned on 7/13/23 consumed on 8/28/23

This beer pours a nice shade of amber, and very clear looking. There's a bit of carbonation rising in the glass. The head that forms is 3 finger, and slightly off white. Not long lasting at all, and there's no lacing on my glass.
Aroma is just a faint cereal aroma. Not really much there.
Taste is really like the nose. There's cereal in it, and a bit of caramel, but, not much there at all. It's not offensive, just somewhat bland.
The body is decent overall. Not watery, or thin.
This is ok, and easily drinking, but it's somewhat bland overall.

The pour is copper colored with a mild amount of carbonation. I do agree that the taste is a little watered down for an oktoberfest style beer. In addition to, I'm getting some toasted almonds, brown bread crust, & mild earthy herbal notes. Cheers! B-

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of bread crust, maltiness, some roasty notes and herbal notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a malty backbone.

Far too much residual sweetness. This beer tastes like it was lagered for, like a week. No need for more details as it's not worth it but it needs significant improvement, will not buy again.

Pours from bottle a rusty brown red, no head formation. Nose is sweeter malts, some fruitiness; as it warms, however, things take a funkier turn, even getting a whiff of wet animal. Taste is light toffee and caramel, slight vegetal flavors as well. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy and viscous, but with some sharp carbonation. Overall, not one that I'd revisit.

Poured on tap into a clear plastic cup (due to pandemic). Beer is pinkish red with a small white head. Smells of sweet caramelized grain. Tastes of plain caramelized grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Pours a lighter copper with a decent light tan head that subsides slowly and leaves nice lacing.

The nose is pretty muted. Proper malt aromas balanced with hints of hop are there, but very faint.

The flavor follows the nose. This is a well-balanced take on the style, with a good mix of malts and hops, but it is fairly watered down.

The mouthfeel is a little thin and flat for the style.

This is one of my least-favorite versions of the style for 2019. Check the box flavors are there, but it is a thin bland brew.
