Went with a pint of CW Red on my way to a Badger hockey game, instead of a safer bet of porter that I hear is good.
Very little head on my pour, but carbonation sent up rings of foam after every drink. Dark, hazy amber color that didn't clear up as it warmed.
Metallic-malty smell, in store for some sweetness. Subtle floweriness, in fact very subtle after I consumed some of their IPA.
This one has an overwhelming crystal malt flavor (think of the note you get in SA Boston lager x10+). The sweetness doesn't linger or become cloying, but I just think it is too sweet.
Fairly thick in your mouth, but again doesn't get to a level where it is a bad thing. Pretty heavy for a beer under 5%, could be good or bad thing.
I was getting full by the end of the pint.

Pours a nice amber red color with 1" white head with big foamy bubbles. Malt smell but nothing to big. Tastes of malt, some caramel, toast, a little bitterness and iron at the end. Mouthfeel is smooth and with a little carbonation, easy drinking.
Overall, an ok beer I would drink in a pinch but Central Waters has some way better offerings than this. Worth trying but don't go out of your way to get it.

12 oz. bottle, with bottled on date of November 26, 2013 per the bottleneck, 33013. Another new beer to me from Central Waters. I'm not entirely sure what to expect, but I have great faith in these guys.
Poured into a clear balloon snifter.
A - Pours a nice fiery orange color with some red highlights when held to the light. About a finger of bubbly foamy khaki head. Some nice big lacing. Looks pretty nice.
S - Smell is nice, but sort of lacking. Caramel / amber malt, some mustiness, lightly grainy, lightly soapy, some green apple skin. Faint nuttiness. Light floral / earthy hop presence.
T - Taste is of smooth clean bready caramel / amber / red malt, light earthiness, lightly grainy, & some sticky green apple skins on the finish. Faintly metallic.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, and clean. Somewhat thin and watery. Light-bodied with good carbonation. Finishes dry.
Overall, it is certainly an easy drinker, but it falls short of greatness. Definitely a less than memorable offering from Central Waters. Light and easy to drink, but it has poor depth and duration of flavor. Glad to have tried it, but I wouldn't want it again.
