Reviewed from notes.

A. Lightly hazed coppery amber with a foam collar, no lacing.

S. Smells of biscuit dough with sprinkles of light floral and earthy hopping on top.

T. Flavor is significantly nuttier than I expected. Also has a bit of a toasted malt character and finishes with those earthen hops from the nose.

M. Lighter bodied yet smooth in texture.

Thank you to Jamie for this beer.

A- deep red brown with fluffy white head that leaves good lace on glass

S- Big malts almost oktoberfest like. Bread and oily wood

T- Biscuit and bread malts forward with some lingering hops in the back. a little spicy herbs also tasted

M- very easy drinker. goes down with no problems

O- More like a Oktoberfest IMO. but a solid red ale. not something i would reach for on a regular basis but glad i got to try it.

A good refreshing session beer that meets the below 5 abv mark. Obtained from TMoney2591 in a trade. Pours into a pint glass, a hazy caramel color with a good size off white head and some lacing.

Smell is biscuity malts. Tastes good, a malty Red Ale....Biscuity and bready..no caramel or other flavors, a little grassy hops at the end for balance.

Mouthfeel is a hair light, still crisp and not too sweet. Nice malt forward balance. A good session beer. Would like to try it on tap.

amber/reddish hue with a nice cream colored head. Smell was sweet caramel malts with a hint of a corn or grain in it. The taste was very much sugary malts with again a bit of a grain or earthy back to it. Very nice actually. This is very nicely carbonated and goes down smooth.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass. Bottled September, 2011.

SAE/ECE amber body with a vague smattering of beige foam that recedes to a mottled surface layer and a micro-collar. Poor retention, very little lacing.

Described as nutty and floral - not far off the mark. Also hints of sandalwood, leather, and cinnamon in the nose.

The palate follows the nose closely with a bit more depth of malt and a little more pronounced (though still restrained) hoppiness. Finishes dry with hints of rosewater and lavender as it warms.

Light-bodied, well carbonated...

Not bad, not great...

A- Red, slightly orange, with a one finger offwhite head. Retention is decent. No lacing.
S- Aroma is disappointing. Nose in the glass and I'm getting very little. Pretty clean with just a bit of toasted biscuit.
T- Toast and sweet buscuity flavors up front. Not as caramely as most American Reds. The finish shows a nice finesse of grassy hops. Leaves a fresh flavor in the mouth.
M- I would like just a shade more body. A bit more carb would be nice too.
O- I almost gave it a four overall, but a couple of the aspects (nose, weight) made me round down. Close to being a very good example of the style.

Pours an amber color with a small off white head with fair retention and spotty lacing. The aroma has biscuit malt, a little caramel, and a some hops.

The taste is just like the aroma with biscuit malt, a little caramel, and some hops. Bready, slightly sweet, with a little hop bitterness. Somewhat bland, since the biscuit malt stands out the most.

Medium bodied, average carbonation, somewhat crisp. A bit disappointing.

Ouisconsing Red Ale pours a dark copper color, with a little but present white head. The smell is full, nice malty notes. The taste was very full, nice malty taste, very nice on the palette, a bit sweet. This beer is nice on the paletee, its not harsh, but not watery either. Overall this is a good beer, I found it suppior in comparision to other red ales.
