Pours a nice, soapy, off-white head that collapses, leaving soapy lacing. A floral, almost tart aroma at first - notes of sweet, biscuity malt. Radiant, amber-red. Starts off oddly bitter, sweet, hoppy, and tart. Builds into a floral hoppiness, a touch of spiciness, then as the hops become somewhat citrus-rind like and medium bitter, the malt appears. A nice malt flavor begins to meld with the hoppiness. Lingering bitterness over the malt in the finish.
This isn't too bad. It's a strange initial flavor, but it rapidly transitions into something very nice.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.
Pours reddish amber with 1/4 inch of white foam. Caramel nose. Light watery malty taste. Slight sweetness. Mild hop bitter at the close. Mild malty flavor, pretty typical red. Sure is good though. Nice Wisconsin offering.
