12 oz bottle poured into an oversized wine glass. pours a rich clear amber color with golden highlights and a single finger of eggshell colored head that leaves moderate lacings and good retention.
aroma is of light hop notes with some piney notes mixed in and a touch of tropical hops along with a touch of creamy malts and some subtle spice after a bit of warming.
taste follows the nose with a bit of a spiced hop note added in along with a note of caramel malts mixed in. almost ESB-esque with a generous addition of hops.
mouthfeel is medium bodied with a dry finish and semi-dry presence on the palate. a standard IPA in mouthfeel.
drinkability is good. a drinkable IPA that does well to mix the hop notes together and produce a complete tasting brew. well done by Central Waters, but still could use some more hops to be truely notable.
