Pours cloudy Amber. Thick, medium, off-white head that last a while.

Smells Citrus, malts, Pine.

Tastes Piney, Citrus and bready malt. Finish dry with bitter linger. Medium body and smooth medium carbonation.

Picked this up today after not having it for quite awhile. On the brewery tap-list they state it is 7.1% ABV as opposed to what BA has. I had been enjoying HHG but the last sixer I bought was meh. Today this was better. Not world class but drinkable for sure. The look, taste, smell, feel are all decent just not special.

This is a very good beginner IPA, it pours a nice deep orange color with a descent head. I poured it into a tulip glass and it left a little lacing on the glass. Overall this is above average for the style, not to hoppy or bitter.

A very smooth American IPA, the hops balance nicely with the citrus and malt. Central Waters has yet to let me down and this is one easy-drinking IPA on a warm fall afternoon.

12 oz bottle into a 16 oz tulip. Bottled on 06/09/16. $7.99 a six pack on sale.

A - Slightly cloudy orange color with 2 inch rapidly falling head, decent lacing in the glass
S - Floral and slightly spicy citrus fruity boozy bouquet
T - Grapefruit, lemon, orange, malt, lingering bitterness but exceptionally well balanced, Drying finish and moderate lingering bitterness make this a very crushable ale (5.5%)
F - Medium mouthfeel for IPA style, oily, resiny and pleasantly drying aftertaste.
O - This is a very enjoyable and well balanced IPA. I was very surprised how low everyone scored this beer when I logged in. This is a very crushable IPA and 5.5% you can enjoy a few. There is a very good balance between malty and hoppy in this beer and it improves as it warms. The beer is bottle conditioned so carefully decant the beer off the yeast at the bottom like you would with homebrewed beer. I was able to identify the bottling date on the a half opened case at the liquor store. Central Waters really should add a date to their bottles/labels so consumers know the age of the beer they are buying. I think old and/or light skunked beer might be a factor in so many poor reviews. This beer is delicious if you can find it fresh. This would be a perfect canned beer for stability/portability/sessionability reasons Central Waters.
