Bottled in April, poured into a standard pint

Appearance- Pours a light copper color, crystal clear, with a frothy two fingers of white head. Good retention and lace left behind.

Smell- Not a whole lot going on in the aroma. A little caramel malt sweetness and that is about it.

Taste- A little caramel malt again. A breadyness throughout the drink, with a hint of darker fruits. Fairly grainy on the finish. A bit watery, even metallic.

Mouthfeel- light body with medium carbonation.

Overall- Unimpressed with this offering. A session beer it may be, but it is really bland. The sales of this brand may support a good cause, but it is a very unmemorable beer.

Pours slightly hazed copperish amber with a thin lasting head. Little lacing sticks.

The smell is of caramel with a musty undertone.

The taste is of caramel with vague dried citric sour fruity aftertaste. Sweetish with a metallic dryness in the finish.

It is somewhat fizzy. Rather abrupt, slightly watery finish.

Because of the odd finish and things just not coming together greatly, I wouldn't "session" this.

A: Dark reddish orange tones with a tannish creamy-frothy like head that was lengthy in stay. Carbonation was healthy, strong, and quick paced. Lacing was moderate.

S: Gentle hay, fresh pale grains, green flowery hops mixes with some semi-dry apple and lemon peel.

T: Apple citrus flavor with some soft hay backing. Some background toastedness, caramel, just enough to give you an appreciation while still maintaining a pale, grainy and straw like taste. Green hops, leafy, warming flowers, almost nobel like.

M: Medium consistency, medium carbonation, syrupy texture and flowery pollen coats the tongue there-after.

O: Overall easy drinking, fresh grainy pilsner like feel with some caramel sweetness, light bodied, not heavily hopped, some nobel flower indications and goes down smoothly enough. Nice flowery fade that lingers gently behind.
