Poured from a bottle into a tulip. It pours a clear straw colol and forms a 1/4 inch almost white head that reduces to a nice lacing. Carbonation is readily visible.
The aroma is yeasty and some grassy notes with some spice components and just a hint of malty backbone.
The taste is a bit fruity and just a touch of spice, but quite a bit lighter than ideal. Minimal hops presence right at the end.
The mouthfeel is light bodied and thin. Carbonation is adequate. It goes down clean leaving little behing.
This beer is okay. I can see how they would say a good summer beer because it is light and does not do much to the palate, however, that also prevents it from being real strong in components, as well.
