Appearance: Pours hazy gold with a light tea tint under a 1” offwhite foam cap. Smell: Almost smells like oysters to the point where you want to go out and buy some Taste: Large pitted fruit becomes especially big in the middle and then earthy European hops provide a bitter accent on the finish. Malt in the background provides balancing biscuit flavors. Mouthfeel: Medium body, carbonation above medium. Overall: This is a yeast driven beer that captures many Belgian qualities. Very drinkable.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber with a modest head that quickly fades to a ringlet; plenty of lacing dots on the side of the glass
Smell: Pound cake and vanilla, with hints of stone fruit and clove
Taste: Pound cake and vanilla, slight diacetyl, with spicy yeast phenols developing; hints of clove, stone fruit and banana linger into the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A much better beer than I was anticipating as Belgian styles from brewers who don't concentrate on them often fall short; pleasantly surprised at the flavors, though the mouthfeel falls a little short
Thanks, Wi-Beer-Man. for the opportunity

A slightly above average yeasty golden pale ale. Really nothing sets this beer apart, either good or bad. Has everything you would expect, yeast forward complexion, flowers and spices in the aftertaste, golden malts and light hops.
