Pours golden amber with a creamy head. Thin lacing sticks down the glass.
The smell is of orange rind, grapefruit, with biscuit / wet cracker in the background.
The taste is of orange, tangerine, grapefruit with a biscuit-like malt supporting the hops. There is an aspirin-like dryness in the finish.
It's a bit thin in the middle, but the hop taste holds through in the aftertaste.
It is a hoppy, lighter-bodied IPA, as intended. A hoppy IPA without the alcohol kick. Well-done, and certainly "sessionable" if you like a brew filled with American hops that have a firm pale malt support.
