Stopped by here for lunch when in the area today. Sat at the bar. It's a long bar that can seat quite a few people. Some booths and a smattering of tables around. Not a whole lot of space. I heard this is a "Detroit-sports" centered place and it indeed is. Tigers game on when I came in. Sports paraphernalia all over the walls. Service was great. Drinks filled quickly, food arrived promptly. The draft list is pretty basic. Nothing here that you couldn't find a dozen other similar places in town. Some Blue Point, Terrapin, Foothills, etc. Bottle selection is even smaller and again, nothing that great. Lots of macro bottles. The food was good and very affordable. All-in-all, lunch with a side, a beer, and tip was about $12. I'll take that any day. I'd come back here, but not necessarily for the beer.

Seeems like a nice little neighborhood bar. I had a bit of trouble trying to find the place at first but once I did we were all good. Walked in and it is a small, cozy place. A few taps greeted me, Terrapin, sam adams, rogue, and one other that I cannot remember. Bartender was friendly enough and quickly asked how I was doing which led to a ten minute conversation about what I was doing in town, etc. Really a nice feel and very welcoming. Not the greatest beer bar per say but I thought it was still very nice. Would not have a problem if I lived close to here.

A place I have been to a few times now,to me its a Northern style neighborhood bar,if you can get what Iam sayin.First off, being from Michigan and a true Tiger fan this bar is like being back home, the owner is from the D and there is stuff on the walls all over the bar showing the owners love of Detroit sports, mainly the Tigers. On tap there was Sweetwater 420,Starr Hill Dark Star stout,Red Oak, and a few others, nothing special but better than alot of bars around the area. The place is always crowded with locals and it can be hard to get a spot at the bar,you have to order food at the bar so having to get a table can be a pain in the arss. The food is very cheap and the wings are good for this area, the bartenders are pretty cool and attentive. For how cheap it is and the Michigan connection I love the place, its not a beer mecca by any means, but the food is good and cheap and you can find a decent enough beer to choose from.

This is the quintessential neighborhood bar and grill. Close to a few downtown living areas, Fisher's Grill always seems to be packed with people that didn't seem to drive to the bar (good for them).
Draft consists of Yuengling, Amber bock, Miller lite, etc., nothing special.
Bottles are standard fare like Anchor steam, Sam Adams, Pilsner Urquell, Ball, Sierra Nevada.
Slightly smoky place, locals, 3 small tv sets, 2 large ones, all with sports on (this was during the world series, and there was also golf and an mls game).
Open 11am - 11pm. Sandwiches, burgers, apps, salads. Counter service only, at least in the evening. Liquor and wine to go with the beer.
Patrons were mostly locals, I assume made up of the close by neighborhoods, friendly, somewhat crowded.
Dark wood bar, quite large, booths, tin roof, stone floor, pub/bar feel - long bar with many stools. A few outside tables.
Not a bad place to grab a pint, nice feel, just nothing special to be had, beer-wise. Can get quite smoky, and forget the food, at least what I've had - sandwiches are average, burgers are above that.
