Poured from bottle into tulip glass, colour is an attractive red colour with a head of pinkish foam, good film retention. Clear and bright.
S - sweet candied cherries. Like the snow cone syrup, quiet sweet and a bit artificial feeling, some slight sour funk, a bit vegetal.
T - starts with a balanced sharpness, bit of tartness which then fades as it becomes more sweet. Some lemony cherries, some strong sweetness to it, quite candied, but it does have enough carbonation to manage to clean it off, finish is quiet and light.
M - very light bodied. With a hint of tartness, moderate to high carbonation making this a refreshing aperitif.
Overall this has a mild tartness, lacks any real sour character, and has such a candy cherry sweetness it is a bit cloying if not for the carbonation to clean off the finish. Quite a light beer, only a slight oak character, it's a bit of a fruit bomb but makes a pleasant refreshing aperitif, would want to restrain myself to one though, it's more balanced than the smell would indicate and makes a refreshing if overall if mostly exciting Kriek.

Bottle at reffer temp into a goblet.
Head small (<2 cm), white with pinkish tinge, creamy, mostly diminishing.
Body clear, light red (not pinK), light to medium palate, watery to creamy.
I first had this beer at Belgo Centraal in the Covent Garden region of London. It was a fantastic introduction to lambic and kriek beers. Then it seemed to disappear for a couple of years. Now it's back as a mass-produced product complete with artificial flavoring and color. Sad, really, that it's no worse than Bud.

Purchased this from the LCBO for $3.70 CDN some time ago, finally getting a chance to enjoy it. Served cool into a small pint glass.
Appearance - Pink, with faint pink head. 1.5 fingers of head poured with ok retention time. Some lacing is left in the glass.
Smell - To me, I got more cranberry than anything else although there's elements of cherry and raspberry (sourness) that come through.
Taste - Cherry very faint, honestly dominated by interplay between cranberry and raspberry. Nice transitions here between some lingering sweetness and the sourness of the fruits.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and refreshing, high level of carbonation and a tingling sensation. A touch on the tin side, but still very good feel.
Overall - This isn't something i would purchase regularly, but a nice beer to have in the summer or looking for something with a nice fruit infusion.

Pours with a dark red color, exact color of cherries, and is topped with weak head. The aroma was a bit disappointing (luckily the only disapointing thing here). I expected a pleasant cherry aroma, but I got a slight acid smell reminding me of cheap wine. The taste was a completely different story - sweet and slightly hoppy towards the end. I could definitely taste some cherries. One of the best krieks so far, sweet (not too much) and easy to drink.

Poured from 375mL corked & caged bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: amber hue with a light haze and a relatively strong effervescence. Head is two fingers of frothy white foam with nice tenacity and lacing. I like it.
Smell: earthy cherry aroma; a little bit of tartness is present, but not much. Decent, but unspectacular.
Taste: cherry character is pretty light, but nice nonetheless. There's an earthiness to the flavor which works well enough, although it is missing a lot of that classic lambic character. Not bad, but not worth going out of your way for.
Mouthfeel: relatively light body with a great big carbonation and a big creaminess. I like it.
Overall: a decent fruity beer, but not a great lambic.
