This is fairly good and very eay to drink, but somewhat bland and thin. Perhaps it is at least partially the result of the nitro-can, which is the only way I have had this and nitro cans and taps always seem to thin out the body and suppress aromas and flavours.
Anyway, it is pale copper with a nice, dense, creamy, permanent off-white head that leaves creamy film on the glass, the one good quality of a nitro can or tap in my book.
The aroma is very subdued, being faint toasted grain, grass, faint hints of leaves, flowers, pine, and the faintest hint of metal. Overall, it is rather like a decent, hoppier US lager aroma.
The taste is similar, being very mild toasted grain with faint hint of caramel, light hint of leaves and grass, with a lightly bitter finish. Its feel is conflicted, both creamy from the head yet a little thin, watery, and flat. Overall, the flavours are good and they do hold up quite well to food, etc., but it needs more. It is, however, very easy to drink and has at least some character, even if a bit one-dimensional.
Serving type: nitro-can
